Toowoomba Regional Council Planning Scheme

Blirt! was commissioned to bring the new Toowoomba Regional Planning Scheme to life through creative brand strategy.
Using the Blirt! process of brand development a series of internal workshops were undertaken to identify the community desires.
Working with the Toowoomba Regional Council team Blirt! developed the brand architecture using the ‘character’ model.
Our philosophy of building brands that represent characters in a story made the brand development process simple, fun and most importantly community driven.
Blirt! went on to develop positioning strategy and creative execution for the new planning scheme launch program.
By providing a clear and tangible brand architecture Blirt! was able to bring the planning scheme to life.
More importantly, Blirt! was able to provide Toowoomba Regional Council a valuable creative framework from which to develop not only a city planning scheme but the communication messages to go with it.
The creative process brought inspiration and passion to the wider team whilst keeping the communication strategy ‘on brand.’
